HMI family vehicle

In a joint Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Design capstone class, our team aimed to enhance family trip experiences through the use of a family car that uses augmented reality windshield/windows. Our focus was on the encouragement of engagement and the mitigation of pain points between passengers and drivers through an infotainment system in a family trip context. We used an OLED screen to simulate an interactive backseat window and observed family interactions with and without the screen.
